The apartment is in a gated community that is set in spacious landscaped gardens with a large swimming pool. The apartments have gated surface parking and there is further public parking just outside the community entrances. Whilst this apartment is a ‘Garden’ apartment the road entrance is at level 2 - but as there are both stairs and lifts to all floors it would still be suitable for the elderly, infirm or wheelchair user. The front door opens into a generous hallway with the nicely equipped American style kitchen directly ahead. To the left is the spacious Lounge/Dining area, which is tastefully furnished with ample seating for all and a formal dining suite. There is a Satellite TV which offers several English Channels and a CD/Radio/Tape Stereo Player. Patio doors lead out onto the Terrace that has wonderful views of the pool, gardens and surrounding area. The Master bedroom is a good size and has a double bed plus the luxury of a private garden terrace. The second bedroom has twin beds and both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a full suite and includes a shower over the bath. There is a second Toilet with hand-basin. The apartment has air-conditioning installed for cooling in the summer and heating for the cooler evenings.
WHERE ARE WE?
The property is in the popular Urbanisation of Calahonda, just a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport along the main A7 (N340) Coastal Highway and right at the heart of the 'Costa del Golf'. The 9 Hole La Siesta Golf Course is literally next door and within a 20 minute drive there are some 15 other 18 Hole courses available for play all year. Miraflores-Santa Maria-La Cala-Mijas-Alhurin-Los Naranjos-La Quinta-Aloha-Rio Real-Marbella-Santa Clara-to name but a few. Opposite is the very popular Club del Sol offering tennis, squash, sauna and a well equipped gym. Many other sporting activities are catered for close by – including skiing!! Within a few steps from the complex are a selection of Bars, Restaurants and a mini-market. Just a short drive away is the El Zoco Commercial centre where there is a large supermarket, various shops, banks and a huge choice of Bars and Restaurants. The local beach is close to the El Zoco complex and there are many more fine sandy beaches within a short drive. Close by is the picturesque Marina of Cabopino where you can have a drink or meal whilst watching the yachts bob up and down. All that Marbella has to offer is only 10 miles away as is Fuengirola in the opposite direction. A 25-minute drive away is the wonderful white village of Mijas with its superb views and famous donkeys. You are also well placed to visit the cities of Malaga, Gibraltar, Ronda, Granada, Seville or Cordoba all within a pleasant days drive.
